Study Smarter (Basic)
Embracement of the growth mindset, reflective practice, and habit building are necessary for academic success
The growth mindset allows us to grow from repeated failure and seak 5-6% discomfort as fuel for growth
Setting up for the growth mindset means we should expect failure with the “win” being to learn from it
Reflective practice lets us extract as much value from each failure as possible
Reflective practice is made of metacognition and action/experimentation
Habit building should rely on as little motivation as possible, by using gateway habits and stacking them together with the 2-minute rule
Good habit-building depends on how we optimise our environment
